FUTA Becomes The first Nigeria School To Lunch a Satellite Into The Space


The Federal University of Technology, Akure, on Thursday dispatch a CubeSat, with the code name NigeriaEdusat-1, into space from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, United States.

The Nigerian Cubesat, is a segment of the Birds 1 satellites, containing four different CubeSats having a place with Japan, Ghana, Mongolia and Bangladesh. They will be propelled from the SpaceX
Falcon9 Rocket.

As indicated by an announcement from the Head, Media and Protocol Unit of the college, Mr. Adegbenro Adebanjo, the college wants to make satellite innovation well known "among individuals from staff and understudies of the college with the end goal of research, assets and ecological administration and practical financial improvement of the country.''

The announcement perused to some degree, "The Nigerian CubeSat is planned, manufactured and possessed by The Federal University of Technology, Akure in a joint effort with the National Space Research and Development Agency, Nigeria, and the Kyushu Institute of Technology Japan.
